Another day gone!

Hey guys!
I just finished another workout (my 3rd one in a row, well actually yesterday was my handball practice but it's exercise! LOL)! It was a little bit worse than thursday... I used the treadmill for 50 minutes. I think that from those 50m, around 25m were running and the others walk and fast walk, all the time run-walk-run-walk.
I had to do that because my calf muscle(and side calf muscle-which I don't know the name) got to stiff.. I don't know if maybe this is because of my handball practice, the jumps and all the stuff or what. I have to say that this happens to me really offen when I'm walking fast or running.. I guess that I need to strecth better!

After the treadmill I did 10 push-ups (not super good, but I did them!!! :D -well, 5 wait 5 second and 5! haha), 40 jumping jacks, 20 squats, 30 crunches (stopped for a few second), 20(each) leg exercise (I did this laying on my side, streching my legs and one leg up), 20 of another kind of crunches and 30seconds plank.

I know this is not really a lot... but it's better than nothing... :/ I need to run more and then faster and also do more "floor" exercises rounds.

So don't give up!! WE CAN DO THIS! :D

Mari Carmen.

Let's workout!

Hey guys! How are you doing?
I started my work out. But I am really lazy with this, always looking for excuses. I love to go to my handball practice and I don't mind running there at all, I like it but to run by myself with "no goal" (in handball you need to catch the ball or whatever) is like so boring... I also need somebody to push me because I don't do it myself, when I am tired I just stop...

But I know I have to do this... So here I am...

My workout today:
I walked fast for like 15 minutes and then I run for 30m at speed 6 (My treadmill says speed 4 walk, 6 jog, 8 run and 10 sprint).
After that I did a 100 calorie workout. (Picture below)

I did the push-ups on my knees, not feet... I am not strong enough yet. I think it's better than nothing :P
Tomorrow I have my handball training so it's gonna be good! :D

Motivation please!!!

Mari Carmen

Food I shouldn't eat depending on some factors

I want to write this one to ASK you guys, what food I should avoid that may be good, but for example not at night, or mixing it with another food.

I say this because I want to make sure I keep a good diet. For example I am eating peas, broccoli or egg at night and I don't know if that's right. I know (well, I've heard) that I can't eat carbohydrates at night (or past 3pm).

If you can answer me, I'll try to make a list and post it for everyone else.

THANK YOU SO MUCH :D

Motivation!

I am gonna show you an idea I saw on the Internet and I really liked. They are like "piggybanks".

You just take 2 jars and decorate as you wish.

You have to write in them :
- Kilos/Pounds lost
- Kilos/Pounds to go

Then you buy little decorative stones and put on To go all the stones representing every kg/lbs that you must lose, and as you keep losing weight, you change the stones from one jar to the other.
You can use anything to do that, I'm using marbles that I had at home :)

Hope you like the idea as much as I did! :)

ABOUT ME

Hey!!I am Mari Carmen and I am 21 years old. I'm gonna tell you a little about me so you can know me better and give me your opinion, tips, ideas or anything you like to :)

I decided to create this blog because I've always been ashamed of my body and I want to do something to change that. I al really young and I want to live my life when I can, and I feel like I'm missing a lot of things because of my "overweight".
Everything started when I was like 7 or 8 years old, until then I always was a tiny, thin, little girl -actually I was under the "regular weight" for my age. Around that age I started to gain a lot of weight so I went to the doctor (because I wasn't eating that much or doing anything different for all the extra weight I gained) and they told me I had a hormone problem (I'm not gonna say a lot about it, but just that I had a masculine hormone working too much).

Anyway, I started a diet when I was like 16 or so for my sister's wedding, and I actually lost around 10-12kg (22-26lbs) in like 6months (I don't really remember, it was a long time ago)- so I went from almost 80kg (176lbs) to around 66kg (145lbs). Even dropping all that weight I still was "fat" because I am 1'58m (5'1ft), so as you can see I am short. One of the things it helped me more was having the meals ready when I got home from school, or let's say it clear, having my mom cooking them for me, so when I got home food was ready and I couldn't pick anything else.
Also, at that time my veggies diet was bad, so I didn't eat a lot of things (just green beans, spinach, puree... and not much more) so when I had something like "grilled chicken breast with salad", I only ate the chicken because I didn't like the salad (and actually I still don't). So I guess my stomach got smaller too.

However, I gained all that weight back over the years. Also last year I lived in the U.S for a whole year and I gained there like 7kg (15lbs) so (and I think was my HIGHEST weight) I was like 85kg (187lbs) or so. Can you believe it? I am so short for that weight! In my last months in the U.S I lost a couple kg and since I'm back home I've lost around 5 or 6 (kg) more.
So my current weight it's around 76.5kg (169lbs).I am so decided that I wanna do this, I NEED IT, for myself. Because I've always been so shy, with so low self-estime... I don't even let my best (girl)friends touch my tummy -what she is trying to fix touching it sometimes like therapy.. LOL.
And is not that I don't exercise, I just don't exercise enought and don't eat as well as I should. I play handball, so I have practive twice a week for like 1.30h each. But what about the rest of the days?I really don't like running, it's so boring to me, but I even bought a running shoes to try (I went once :( )

Well, I think my goal weight should be around 50-55kg (110-120lbs)So... I have more than 20kg (44lbs) to lose! WHAT AM I WAITING FOR?

P.S. One girl that totally inspired me with this is Mook. I meet her in the U.S and it's amazing how far she has come. I hope she doesn't mind that I let you here the link to her facebook page Healthy with Mook

Thank you for your support!

 WE CAN DO IT!
